About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned data governance professional with a proven track record of implementing successful data governance programs. As a Senior Data Governance Resource, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our organization’s data governance strategy. You will leverage your extensive experience and expertise in data governance methodologies and tools to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive data governance framework.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and challenges.
  • Design, develop, and implement a robust data governance framework aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of data governance tools, such as Informatica Data Governance, to automate data governance processes and workflows.
  • Oversee data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring.
  • Identify and prioritize data governance projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on data governance principles and practices.
  • Champion data governance across the organization and foster a data-driven culture.
  • Track and report on key data governance metrics and KPIs.
  • Manage and mentor junior data governance team members.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the data governance sphere.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience working with data governance tools, such as Informatica Data Governance (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
  • Proficiency in data quality concepts and techniques.
  • Working knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
